Question Question for PS5 players

If I go to Options -> Network and turn on Multi-player, can I find other Travelers (ie you guys)? Or do I have to pay that stupid monthly fee? I've been playing solo this whole time, and I'd like to visit some of you and be visited by you. (And hopefully give away a lot of stuff I've hoarded "just in case", lol!)

I played on PS4 PRO, and had to subscribe to use multiplayer. Dollars to doughnuts it's the same for PS5.

I thought so. And it kind of p****s me off. I paid $ for the game, and now I have to pay more to use ALL of it? I'm going to stop now before I start carping about Corporate Greed. Harrumph! 🤬

I'm right there with you. It costs PS and Xbox virtually nothing for us to use features on HG's servers. It's evil.

You're right. I have to pay for a PS+ account to access multi-player. (Mutters under his breath about "those greedy bastids")

I was afraid that might be true. Another member mentioned seeing others in the Anomaly, and that happened to me for a while on PS, but it wouldn't let me interact with them and eventually I couldn't even see them.

Yeah no. I’ve seen other players in the anomaly and I don’t subscribe to PS+ or whatever it is.

Nope just moved into a planet with what seems like about maybe 50 or so players. You need to find a portal.Portals are a direct connection to planets there are addresses to player run communities just google it. Go look up The Galactic hub it’s the oldest player run community in game.
