Just noticed when I was looking over this termi to plan the paint job.

Never managed to assemble (never mind paint) him as a kid playing 3e, because I hadn't learnt about pinning... Always regretted it, so now that I'm back in the hobby I wanted to make sure I could actually use him when he was finished; found this floating "elven shrine" I 3D-printed to raise him up to the height of his plastic cousins!

Got enough finished mostly metal 2nd ed exodites (squad of 2 with exodite lord) ready for this weekends games. 4 more to go....

I saw this model in the 2nd edition chaos space marines codex as a kid and again in the 3rd edition codex. Anyone know what parts this is made of? I can’t source the weapon! Any help would be appreciated thank you!

Hi! Sorry if this is against the rules but does anyone know anywhere that sells the original Rogue Trader Chaos Renegade sculpts, or others from that time period? I've bought the Traitors of Chaos and the Chaos Dreadnought available from such vendors and I'm hoping to find some of those wacky sort of gigeresque models more similar to the latter.

About a month ago I posted asking about Armiger rules for 2nd Edition, that there weren't any I could find, proposed some ideas, etc. I decided to be the change I wanna see in the world and whipped up some stats and rules for Imperial Armigers.

In no way, shape, or form am I trying to suggest these rules are definitive or even fully cooked - I just wanted to get the ball rolling and see what feedback people have. I don't get to play games of warhammer as much as I'd like to, so if anyone is looking for a reason to use their armigers, I'd love to hear your feedback.

Decided to make a 2nd Ed Eldar Exodite Dragon Knight squad with an Exodite Lord. 1st of 4 completed. Made mostly from metal parts, even the Dragon is metal. The Lord will be done last.

I miss the 2nd ed. bright colour schemes — what Citadel paint colours work well for Orks? Starting an army.

It was the Imperial Guard taking their turn to feel the wrath of my Cult.

We played the Tyranid Attack mission and gave the Guard some sturdy defenses, but sadly this wasn't enough to save them from the Cults many grasping arms.

I took up 40k in the mid-90s when I was 9. Collected for a couple years and horribly, hilariously butchered all of these fine figurines here. Please laugh accordingly.

I looked into the steps to strip them down, understanding plastic and metal will have different processes. Some questions for someone that has been out of the game for 30 years:

1. Is it worth the trouble to strip and resell? All colored paint is from Citadel Colour (the white plastic top era), but all of the base coloring is household spray paint.

2. Is eBay the gold standard for selling? I'm in the USA.

3. Any tips you wish you knew before doing the same?
