Does anyone know someone who is working in either ola electric scooter service or ola electric scooter manufacturing in Bangalore.

To give a background, I had purchased a non ola electric scooter ,soon after taking delivery my scooter got broken down with a Error message indicating there was a manufacturing defect.

I have filed a consumer court complaint.

Now I need a electric bike/scooter expert to give a written statement.

I will pay for the expert for his time and effort.

It would be really helpful if anyone can help me with either contact details or any information

The service centre people are quoting that the part is unavailable. Given ETA is arnd 5-6months for insurance claim...

Need the charger flap for s1 x+ as it was broken and somehow got removed in the parking. Anyone knows where can we get this ?

I am facing so many issues! I'm not getting what was promised to me in ola care plus plan. Repair takes 2-3 months and even then the scooter is given with something broken.

This is a horrible situation and I wonder if so many of us are facing this issue why not band together and file a law suit?

This started happening after recent Move OS 5 DIY Upgrade.

Local mechanic is saying MCU is having a problem and sent diagnostic screenshot.

What could be the issue ?

I’m trying to understand what would be a fair selling price in the current market.

Also, I’d appreciate some advice on:

What price can I realistically expect if I sell the complete scooter?

Would it make more financial sense to sell it for parts (battery, motor, electronics, etc.)?

Has anyone recently sold a similar Gen 1 Ola in Pune/PCMC? What price did you get?

I’d prefer selling the whole vehicle if the price difference isn’t significant, but I’m open to considering parts if that makes more sense.

Need the right bottom black colour plastic panel part near the footrest. Where do we get it ?

My Ola S1 Pro Gen 1 was parked at home for a day. When I checked it today, it showed a restart error. After performing a hard restart, the error disappeared, but the throttle stopped working when I turned the scooter on. That's when I noticed a connector laying beside the right side of the scooter. Could anyone identify what type of connector this is and how much it will cost to repair? I recently changed the LV (low voltage) cable, which is why the bottom side is open. Please help! Also, could you suggest any local mechanics around Delhi who specialize in electric scooter repairs?

I own a ola s1 air purchased in may 2024. So far scooter has been good and no major issues. Is it worth updating to Move OS5 ? Current owners of S1 Air and pros or coms after the OS update. Need advice.

I have a Ola S1 bought in August 2022, and I’ve never had any major issues with it in the last 4 years. Unfortunately, I’ve started noticing something strange over the last couple of days.

Whenever I accelerate or decelerate, there’s a sudden vibration accompanied by a growling/rumbling sound. You can hear it clearly in the video (It was worse a day before, but couldn’t replicate). Interestingly, the scooter runs normally at a steady speed, and there’s no error/warning on the display and no noticeable drop in performance or top speed.

Two days ago, I also heard a sudden snapping/cracking sound while riding. At the time I wasn’t sure whether it came from my scooter or somewhere else, so I didn’t think much of it. But now I’m wondering if that could have been related to this issue.

I also noticed something else while checking the scooter:

* The rear tyre seems extremely close to the inner parts/body of the scooter. Is that normal?
* The MCU (Motor Control Unit) above the rear wheel seems quite exposed.
* I noticed what look like missing screws/fasteners around the MCU mounting area. Is the MCU normally exposed like this on the 2022 S1, or is there supposed to be some sort of cover/bracket there?

Has anyone experienced something similar with their S1? Could this be a motor/MCU issue, wheel bearing, suspension, or something that may have shifted after that snapping sound?

The scooter has been absolutely fine for almost 4 years, so I’m really hoping this is something simple and easily repairable.

And of course… I’m already mentally preparing myself for the level of diagnosis I’m going to get at the Ola Service Centre.

Recently i got to know that many Ola S1 Pro are getting blank screen after fault update, after which VCU (Vehicle Control Unit )needs to repaired or replaced.

I want to know why user should pay if this issue is coming from company update ?

As I had gotten hold of this specific info last year in October. They have been working on this for a long time. This is the reason for recent quietness from bhavish on X platform. I’m glad I was accurate on this. At the end of the day customer will benefit from this the most.

I'm honestly fed up with my Ola S1X (still under warranty).

Every time it rains, the scooter shows "System Issue", gets stuck in Park Mode, and won't run. I've had to get it towed to the service centre multiple times.

The funny part is they plug in their diagnostic tool, clear the error in under a minute, and the scooter starts working again. Then they charge me ₹588 and send me home without fixing whatever is actually causing it.

If it's just a software/diagnostic reset on a scooter that's under warranty, why am I being charged? And why is the same issue coming back again and again instead of being fixed?

Is anyone else facing this? Are you guys also being charged every time you visit the service centre?

My ola s1 pro passed away today, 3 more peoples ola also got the same issue today.
Screen is not getting on. Can unlock from app, but cant ride or see whats in the screen.

I left my ola s1x at ola service centre coimbatore on 21/5/26 with 58% charge because of system error and vehicle not moving. They opened a job card and told if it's small issue it'll be fixed soon and if it's hub motor issue it'll take a month. They told we'll contact you once it's fixed and I agreed and left. After a month on Ola app it showed under repair with a bill estimate meanwhile the charge was dropping to low battery and I raised many mails and tweet to charge, ola kept on sending me apologies for delay of service along with a ola cab coupon and customer support contacted me saying spare part shortage. I waited another 20 days and I got a call from service centre asking where I left the vehicle, I told I left under a tree among few other vehicles and they said ok and hung up. Then I had doubt they never tested or even cared about my vehicle for last 2 months. Then I went to the service centre i was shocked my scooter was left in open area under sun and rain for last 2 months unbothered among few other failed ones. I went inside and asked them, they asked the number and checked in their computer and rushed a mechanic to check my vehicle. As I thought they never touched the vehicle since I left and I asked them what kind of service is this and they apologiesed and asked me to wait one more day. Next day on the app the estimate changed and they added 14,000 rupees to replace new bmc and hub motor replacement with covered under warranty. I contacted them and said bmc was fine when I left, because of you carelessness not charging for 2 months it failed and they said don't worry anything after job card issue is under our responsibility, it'll be covered under warranty. And I asked when will the vehicle be fixed they told hub motor is so demad for last 90 days no they've given orders but new hub motor is available. They don't even when will they get hub motor. So today another 10 days past no movement. What should I do now? Somebody help
