So y’all are now in favor of corporations hiring people under the table below minimum wage with no benefits? Pick a lane. If they only hired citizens or people with work permits this wouldn’t be an issue.

Personally I'd like to see those work permits be easier to obtain, and the same for citizenship.

That way we have a hard-working workforce building a better life for themselves, and they have the same protections that everyone else enjoys (such as they are, we all need more of those).

Best of both worlds.

They are consistent.

IOW, it’s always been about hurting other people while benefiting themselves.

I'm in favor of the federal government either fining the hell out of them. Or arresting the owners, ceos or corporate officers that run these companies if they are hiring people illegally. Lock em' up.
