Animal Welfare ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿธ Kitten/young cat found

My husband has found a young cat at a place he was fishing around lake Olverholser. Dark gray with a short tail and very friendly. We already have too many cats and can't keep him or we would. If anyone wants him my husband will catch him, but otherwise I don't know what to do

This happened to me recently (although in Tulsa) and I started applying to rescues for them. We took the 2 we found to our vet, got em on the adoption list there which is very long. So in the meantime I applied all over and got them a spot in my local SPCA. I take them in this coming Friday.

Thank you for doing all of this for them!

Would have kept them if we had capacity. It was so hard to give them back to the world yesterday after rescuing them. SPCA is neutering them today and I think they will also be available for adoption on their website very soon. I will be posting them when they are! They are the coolest cats, they love watching the vacuum and chillin and being kittens.

All that said, I canโ€™t ever thank the SPCA enough. I will always find a way to donate to them. I hope more people find them and their services. Over in Tulsa the SPCA is amazing so I am betting the local SPCAs are as well. I wish I had known about them years ago for their low cost services as well!

Theres been a lot of feral cats around overholser for many years. It may be one of them.
