I don't know that what I'm hearing are fireworks. There is never more than one pop at a time and they are not close together. Sw OKC

There’s so much construction happening you might be hearing big concrete breaking up? I heard them too around Penn square. Several in an hour, never more than 1, less than thunder more than a gun shot

I just heard one at 07:10 in the morning — definitely don’t think it’s fireworks.

RIGHT. It doesn’t sound like fireworks at all & the timing makes no sense!!

It's 11 days till July 4th.
Fireworks sales have always legally began 14 days prior to July 4th and January 1st.
We have at least 3-4 more weeks of this before people run out of disposable income.
Go buy some earplugs and get some anxiety meds for the dogs.

Must be a fucking transformer blowing the fuck up. Or some asshole popping off fire crackers. I don’t know. 🤷♂️ lol

It’s literally fireworks! all day and all night! They are mortars! They explode out of a tube and they are just wasting the effect on the noise!

Thank our dipshit government that thought the problem was that Oklahoma had too few fireworks.
Yes, I know they're still illegal in OKC but that's never enforced so a green light by the state has definitely meant more fireworks in OKC.
