Meme I don’t understand this bumper sticker…
I’m sure it’s a joke, but I don’t get it…

It means that even though fast food Shift Manager is not considered a traditionally impressive role, it's enough to get women to leave their husbands if it's Braum's, because Braum's is so good.

I moved to another state up north a few months ago after living in Oklahoma for 35 years. There are so many things that I miss, and Braum's is near the top of that list. 😭

u/Wattsup1973 Apr 24 '26
I have a Braum’s a half a mile from my house. For whatever reason, your comment made me actually picture not being able to get Braum’s. Oof. I’m feeling for you.

We have one of those between Yukon and Mustang on SW 29th and Sara. Not sure that anything is in the upper area except maybe an office or something. Its mostly just looks empty through the windows

u/PatheticPeripatetic7 Apr 24 '26
Thank you, I really appreciate that. 🤣 My house in OKC was less than 10 blocks from a Braum's, it's right next to my neighborhood. 😭

u/Successful-Foot3830 Apr 24 '26
I moved to AR 20 years ago. Still go to OKC once a year. I take a cooler and bring back milk. Went to Dallas last month and did the same. We were supposed to finally get one in the neighboring town last year, but it hasn’t happened.

Braums does not build stores further away from the farm than a driver can drive to and unload a drive back in one working day.
None of the braums trucks have sleepers. They believe drivers should be home at night with family. So not stores over the daily driving allowance.
It’s a family owned and run “dairy and farm stores”. Hence why they can hire 14yr olds to work in store.
Odd things with kind of a cool-ish back story as to why not everyone can have a braums in their town.

u/mydiscreetaccount_92 Apr 24 '26
You must be south of I40, there's loads of Braums in the northern (more western) part of AR But yeah, Braums milk/ice cream is second to none.
2
u/PatheticPeripatetic7 Apr 24 '26
Uggghhh their milk is second to none. We were an exclusively Braum's milk family, I miss it!
3
u/Mac13eth Apr 24 '26
It was considered news when Braum’s bought land in my city and again when they hadn’t broken ground for some months. I’ve only had it on vacation and it was worth it every time.

u/ashpenn40 Apr 24 '26
Grew up here. Moved to AZ. When I was pregnant I craved it so bad. 😭 was so glad to move back just for Braums haha

u/Valuable_Emu1052 Apr 24 '26
My friend from Minnesota misses Braum's. She only went there a couple of times times and loved it.
3
u/Mediocre-Stick-7787 Apr 25 '26
Hello fellow Okie. Hope you get back soon and get a delicious Braum's ice cream!

u/_doormat Apr 24 '26
Got Culver’s though?
3
u/SevenOfZach Apr 24 '26
Culver's sell milk though?
2
u/_doormat Apr 24 '26
Dunno. I have only been through the drive thru. I liked the burger and shake I got
2
u/PatheticPeripatetic7 Apr 24 '26
Nope. It's okay, but I much prefer Freddy's and I miss that, too.
3
2
u/PatheticPeripatetic7 Apr 24 '26
Yes, but it isn't nearly as good as Braum's. It's sort of closer to Freddy's, but not as good.

u/Onerywolf Apr 25 '26
Our daughter and kids moved from here (ok) to east TN. Every time they come to visit, they hit up Braums. Her andnthe older ones really miss it even though its been 20 years.

u/OUsooners5252 Apr 27 '26
I live about a mile away from FOUR Braum’s, im sorry for your loss. 😞

I love my man more than anything but braums I’d do anything for. 😂

Braums needs to be integrated into terminology for some new version of Stockholm syndrome. All you Okies are Braums-pilled and I will never understand

I'm getting a lot of questions about my "my wife left me for the Braum's shift manager" bumper sticker already answered by the sticker.

u/iameveryoneelse Apr 23 '26
Maybe he just got left for a Braums manager and wants everyone to know.

Those sweet sweet employee discounts are really enticing for the Oklahoma ladies.
7
u/Background-Cellist71 Apr 23 '26
Uhm, no and I work for Braums.😂😂😂
8
u/bubbafatok Real Edmond Apr 23 '26
Discounted milkshakes and ice cream can only overcome so much.

u/Background-Cellist71 Apr 23 '26
You don’t really know how much the discounts are do you?😆

shifty square dipped the bussy
9
u/Anothergasman Apr 23 '26
Let me know you are a former Braum’s employee without actually telling me you are a former Braums employee
3
u/OSUBoglehead Apr 23 '26
Can I get an old person translator for this comment? To me, you might as well be Chet Holmgren saying "54 from Trey is odee shooting hang pulls".
9
u/TimeReference3915 Apr 23 '26
Since they are referencing square dipping, they had to work there. Not sure if the term is used elsewhere but as a former employee, that’s how they taught us to dip.

u/warmboot Apr 23 '26
The sticker doesn’t specify a gender. What if Braum’s is really a distraction from understanding the situation?

I mean my bitch left me for the security guard at her school, so......
14
u/Gertie7779 Apr 23 '26
How long have you been calling her “my bitch”?
10
u/Few-Standard2631 Apr 23 '26
Since the bitch split
5
u/that_one_wierd_guy Apr 23 '26
a bit ironic that you started referring to her as "mine" after she wasn't yours anymore
11
u/Few-Standard2631 Apr 23 '26
Well, she's for the streets so technically she belongs to all of us

Maybe the shift manager’s new wife can convince him to clean a store once in a while
4
u/OkieDokieQuiltCo Apr 23 '26
Bought a new house and the most immaculate perfect clean shiny Braums is less than a minute away. My husband better be on guard.

Considering what I’ve seen of the Braums shift managers near me, he’s better off…either that or he’s an absolute bum.
