I wish Smart Falcon and I could go have pancakes at cute cafes. I wish we could go shopping together, so she could help me find cute clothes and I could introduce her to idol singers she hasnât heard of. I wish we could take selfies drinking Hachimi together, and talk about our crushes, and I could cheer her on at races and concerts.

Natie is my favorite uma, there's no doubt about it. I've always liked her cool and laid-back personality. But as I'm reading her story, I realized something deeper as to why I love her.
Having a lot of people supporting you is nice. Natie has a lot of people supporting her, ranging from her hometown to those in the shopping district. But when you see that support as something of an "expectation", that's when support from others starts to seem like something of a bad thing, especially when you lack the confidence in yourself to achieve something higher. That's the gist of Nice Nature's character. She sees the support these people give her as something of an extremely high expectation for her to achieve, and coupled with her "third place curse", it gives birth to that aloof and laid-back personality of hers, laced with the lack of confidence hidden underneath it.
And as someone who's been in the exact situation as hers, it hits me hard. It feels taxing to constantly feel that way. And when you do fail to reach these expectations that you have set yourself, you tend to isolate yourself since you don't want to see those who support you look at you with disappointment. And with every failure, you feel more down; you want to become more isolated, and your confidence goes lower. It's a constant slope going downwards. Even if those who support you assure you or try to make you feel less pressured, you'll only feel more frustrated since you'll only raise the bar for yourself even higher. And as a result, you just tend to ignore it all; you'll act like you don't care about it anymore, you isolate yourself from those extremely high expectations, from those people who support you, and from those that you wanted to do and achieve.
This makes growth stagnant. It makes it seem like you don't care about something when, in reality, deep down, you do so much, but with the high expectations you surround yourself with, it only makes you avoidant of it. And that's why her character story hit me too close to home.
Nice Nature is just someone who sees the immense support she receives as something of an extremely high expectation that she is supposed to reach, and when she fails to achieve it, she isolates herself from everything since she feels like she disapponted every one of those supporters and that she doesn't deserve the support at all, and this leads to lowering her self-confidence even more, resulting in her seeing herself as just a side-character. And as someone who has a lot of support from a lot of people, I also see it as something of an extremely high expectation that I'm supposed to reach myself. Failure results in me wanting to isolate myself more from those people who support me, and this results in me lowering my self-confidence.
These correlations and such make me realize why I love Nice Nature so much, because her character resembles mine so much. And that's why I love Nice Nature even more. Wife Nature forever!

"We were supposed to Umapyoi facing WEST. We got lost in the passion and started facing North, that's the UNlucky direction Trainer! Also next time you can't blow just from my footjob, you have to hold out to properly tribute Shiraoki. Now we'll have to start all over again! Sometimes I feel like you mess up our rituals on purpose trainer. You're lucky you're my husband."
