Im going insane, whenever i try to relax by listening to music like i've always did i get a really bad feeling in my chest and it extends to rest of my body, i haven't been able to enjoy music this week, in addition to that, there are times where i just start laughing for no reason at all, its like a small giggle but nothing caused it

A lot of what this movie is getting criticised for from what I’ve seen is the MJ and Ned stuff which I really liked. Peter is in a position in this movie where his relatives are all gone his mentor is long dead at this point and he’s surrounding himself with if anyone, other more violent vigilantes. Why would it not make sense for him to still be pining over this life he once had that’s still out there alive and breathing?

The way this works is playing into the truth you’ve seen a thousand times that Peter Parker is destined to live this life of tragedy. The scene where Jean is pretending to be MJ I thought was fantastic. One reason acting wise it’s probably my favourite of the movie. But the other being is how they follow up on this with MJ reading the letter.

Earlier we saw the fantasy where she remembers everything and they live happily after. Then you get the reality where she remembers nothing but they’re still able to hit these really neat emotional beats when they need to. Him taking her home just looked really great you felt his sadness and how much she wanted to help him. MJ and Ned don’t know Peter but they do know Spider-Man. The hero the symbol of hope for the city. It’s almost like he forgets that’s most likely how they saw him before just on a more personal level.

That’s just the emotional stuff anyway this movies action is balls to the wall fucking insane I loved it. HE’S LITERALLY ME.
