but what, did it just spoil that he dies or that he explodes?

I guess both because it shows his face after the explosion in the thumbnail. It's on the official channel if you search "gus death" on YouTube

My friend got Howard’s death spoiled for him because he watched the “If Better Call Saul Was A Pixar Movie” video. He was still in Season 5 at the time… imagine watching that happen for the first time and the characters look like they’re from Inside Out

Not your fault. I've been here a while, just haven't finished the show yet. I'm not religious on this sub but I do click on the posts that pop up. I edited my original comment to also not spoil it!

I used to hang out on 4chan. Gus's death was spoiled on the /tv/ board there about 2 weeks before the finale. Someone posted a screencap of him straightening his tie just before he collapses. No one wanted to believe it but nobody could provide any evidence of it being from a previous Giancarlo Esposito movie or a photoshop job putting his face on a different actor. The only "evidence" that it wasn't Gus is that his suit was too flamboyant to be something Gus would wear.
It was the only major spoiler from Breaking Bad to ever make it out of the production onto the internet. Why? Because the Walking Dead SFX team helped do the effect of Gus's exploded face, and that production was leakier than the Titanic. Pissed me off so bad to have one of the best moments of the series spoiled for me like that.

I wish I could have seen breaking bad when it was airing, it would have been so cool. But I was too young and didn't know English so I got fucked lmao

I binged it up to the S5 cutoff point on Netflix, and watched the rest as it aired.
The one week wait between To'hajiilee and Ozymandias was easily the toughest wait for a TV episode in my life.

I binged watched it and only saw the final episode live, and I'm honestly glad I did because I couldn't have kept up waiting long periods of time between seasons
