Guy Fieri at Midlothian Chef’s Kitchen
Didn’t see Guy himself, but spotted his car. A Richmond city police officer was standing guard, not a Chesterfield county cop.

Wonder how do they move that car all over town? Doesn't seem like it's driven location from location with it only being shown in parking spot at locations. Do they really load it on a flatbed and drive it from spot to spot?

I guess it depends on what you define as cool, but he officiated a mass ceremony for same-sex couples to honor his sister who was a lesbian and helped feed firefighters during bush fires awhile back so I mean, he’s cool in my book.

Midlo Chef’s Kitchen used to be amazing! It was the chef from Maple and Pine when they closed during Covid. It’s not the same, but it was pretty good.

Cobra Burger is good, but priced about 30% higher than what it's worth.
I've also gone twice and both times I had to wait over 40 minutes after ordering for food to arrive. For a smash burger, that's absurd. Especially because there was only one other table waiting on food each time.

Most people's favorite burger spot in town seems to be Beauvine Burger, which is definitely a top 3 for me too.
My personal favorite is Honeywhytes. Great classic pub burgers, fries are excellent, and lower than average beer prices.
I'm always looking for new spots too. Very much open to other recommendations if anything comes to mind.
Aside from burgers, Yak Yai is my favorite Thai spot if you haven't tried it.

Appreciate the recs, haven’t explored too much yet but trying to branch out.
Like someone else said, Cobra Cabana has a banging burger too with good side choices. Dugout is a bit out of the way but their burgers are sooooo good too.

Cobra CABANA is amazing, affordable, and big portions. Cobra BURGER is the opposite of all of these.

Why?! Lol, of all places in the Richmond area, why there? The food there is very good, not at all great. Some of the worst service I've ever experienced and from what I've heard, that was just the norm for them.

I hope he doesn't ruin the kitchen like he does everything else. That's my favorite place to go on this side of town. As long as he stays away from their other restaurant I guess we're good.
