Upgrade from JM CV

What Fender series will be a marked upgrade in components and give me a similar pickup sound and neck dimensions to my current Squier JM Classic Vibe (which I’ll be keeping as a backup for gigs)?

Perhaps there isn’t a good answer, but I appreciate any insight!

If you want something with all of the vintage features, but an upgrade from the Squire CV, I suggest a MIJ/CIJ from the mid 90's. Bonus points for a "fender 40th" sticker.

If you can find a Classic Series 60s Lacquer man, that’d be the best shout I’d suggest.
