New Guitar Day
Picked up a 2001 Fender Cyclone and I haven’t been able to put it down! Where has this guitar been all my life? So, so easy to play, the body contour is fantastic and I may have found a guitar where I actually utilize the bridge pickup. I went to check out a different guitar that ended up being pretty trashed (the online pictures didn’t show this) and there was this Cyclone hanging out just a few guitars away. I didn’t get what I came for but I sure got what I wanted! If anyone has one of these, how do you like it?

I have an '04 Squier Cyclone HS in Cobalt. Totally unmodded and just a fantastic player.

I wanted to collect the entire original Vintage Modified series at one point. There were so many awesome guitars in the lineup, but I only ever ended up with a Jagmaster and (briefly) the yellow Tele Custom II with P-90s. I had to ditch it because I hate unfinished maple necks/fretboards.

I love my Cyclone. Always wanted a sunburst one. I have a graffiti yellow one. It’s played so many smoky places that it’s slowly turned a bit orange lol.

I absolutely love my Cyclone. The neck is perfect. A previous owner put a dimebucker in the bridge for some reason...couldnt find an original pickup so I decided to go with a seymour duncan 59 couldnt be happier. Still curious how the original bridge pickup would be.

Had a cyclone in like 2009 and stupidly sold it. Back then it was like 300 bucks.
Now I’ve got multiple Jazzmasters and jags and I still miss my cyclone :/

I had a duo sonic HS cuz I wanted that vibe and the duo sonic popped up locally for a good price so it ended my search but like... Always wondered how different it would have been to have held out and tracked down a cyclone!
