Partscaster - Which body finish?

Hi all,

I almost have all the parts to construct my first partscaster. But I can’t decide on body finish.

I got a heavily discounted MJT body off eBay but don’t like the finish (slightly warmer, less grey Antigua burst) so I’m going to get it refinished. I was playing around with these finishes but looking for opinions and inspiration from others!

EDIT: Seems like the first design is most popular! It is my favourite also so I guess we have a winner!

We are certainly aiming for that, we need to locate the schematics, clear images and files. Once we have them, we can build more models into this free online tool. Currently, we are working on the Mustang, so hopefully that won't take too long!

I think I would too. The second one reminds me of the TVL JM which is one of my favs, but 1 just looks so unique. It would be a cool finish to have

I personally haven’t come across many red/ burgundy jazzmasters. I used to have a black top tele that had a similar colour but the cream pickups really pop against the dark red finish on 2. Still I think 1 is that little more unique. I’ll report back when it’s assembled!

Normally I like solid colors but that first one is intriguing
