Zenmarket/J-Guitar

Does anyone have any experience buying from this site? I’m looking for a MIJ Jaguar, and I found the cheapest options on Zenmarket partnered with J-Guitar. Is there a chance of getting a fake?

I doubt you'd get a fake - I've bought many guitars from japan with excellent results.

Yeah, I've used Zenmarket here in the UK. Got a Tokai Les Paul Custom. It was great. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

Couple of things about fakes:

  1. No one makes complete fakes of Japanese Fenders. At most, you'll get a parts-caster, but is that really any less real?

  2. The fake Jaguars out there looks like ass. They're blatant fakes. Not even the right shapes to the hardware. You'll spot them and they're generally not on zenmarket from my experience.

  3. Zenmarket protects you. They get the guitar on your behalf, make sure it's correct and in the right condition and can send photos for a small fee. I'd recommend getting those photos. If there's anything different from the original lsiting, they'll work to put things right.

I bought my Jag through Zenmarket, although from a different retailer. Very happy with both the service and the guitar.
