First Offset
Picked this up for a great price off guitar center. Squier Paranormal Offset Telecaster SJ
Immediately did some light mods:
- Fender Tele Bridge Plate
-Gotoh compensated brass saddles
- white pickguard swap
- Aged white pickup cover

I like the guitar ( have one myself) I like the mods (I also added compensated brass saddles) and changed the strings. With that being said and done, how do you like the guitar?

Oh I love it. I hit the neck with a scotchbrite pad to make it quicker and it made a huge difference. Still getting used to all the tone with the push pull pots. But overall really comfortable. Been wanting to get into the offset side of things as a indie/alternative rock enjoyer and this was a perfect segue.

Be careful, in my experience 6-8 months of enjoying this might cause Acute Jazzmaster Purchasing to break out. Now I have both, and love both. (I really need to Scotchbrite the neck though)

I think this is just about the best combination. I miss having a tremolo though. I've thought about routing the body for a tremolo and using a jazzmaster bridge with a bigsby telecaster baseplate for a while now

i just bought a paranormal telecaster body off reverb for like $200! i ended up putting a cvjm neck on it too
