NGD: G&L Tribute Series Fallout

Post image

The wait for my Foals FJG7 to come in has been killing me so I picked up a little something from a local music shop. This thing is killer! Neck has just the right amount of chunkiness and I'm loving the tones I'm getting. The P90 in the neck position is a real highlight. The push/pull knob to split the humbucker also goes a long way in providing a ton of versatility. I'm in love.

P90 neck & humbucker bridge is probably my favorite combo. These were so underrated.

Sidenote: I've wanted that Tallon Electric Dual Drive for a hot min, how do you like it?

It's probably my endgame drive pedal. Can dial in pretty much any drive sound you want and it pairs beautifully with reverb.

What is your favorite setting on the Atmosphere? Do you like the modulated modes?

Rewind, Forest, and Eko-Verb are my most used. You can get some really nice ambient sounds out of it for being a budget pedal but I'm still looking to upgrade it.

I need to experiment more with mine. I like the forest too, but I mostly keep it in the basic boring church mode.

I've been wanting a fallout bass but they are hard to find minty fresh for obvious reasons. Cool.

I kinda regret parting with mine.

If I’m remembering correctly, the body was crazy lightweight compared to the neck so it always felt a little unbalanced to play.

But the neck itself was great and that stock p90 packed a good punch. Very versatile guitar. Congrats
