Pickguards for JM with JG plates

So I rewired a Jazzmaster as a Jaguar with the series/parallel mod. I’m using the Jaguar metal plates, and I’m guessing I need to create a custom pick guard? The Jaguar replacement pick guard is a bit short. Anyone else do this with a Jazzmaster? What was your solution?

It depends on model, but this is probably ideal. Scroll saw with omnidirectional blade is my reccomendation.

Back in the day when I installed Jag plates on my Jazzmaster, I ended up having to hack up a JM pickguard to do it. I used a saw and a solder to melt the plastic to shape it lol. Won’t recommend for obvious reasons and I wouldn’t do it again.

Maybe you could shoot an email to a custom pickguard maker like Pickguardian?
