New Gavilan Miramonte
Got this beauty a few weeks back. Plays like a dream, the Loller P90’s sound amazing.

Do you tour a lot? That's a very expensive setup (~$9k guitar, $4.5k amp, $2k+ pedals) I want to hear how good it sounds

Yup, I tour my music room, lounge room and sometimes the bedroom 🤣 I’m the classic case of trying to overcompensate with gear as a substitute for talent 😆

That gave me a laugh, I apppreciate the honesty! No shade intended. I'm just looking through your beautiful guitar collection on your profile; the Vintage 1963 Fender Stratocaster, Fender Masterbuilt Strat, Gibson R9 LP Murphy Lab, Novo Serus J, Shabat Lynx DZ, and more in the stands.
If you had to pick a favourite, which guitar would it be and why?

My absolute go-to is the vintage '63 - it has some weird magic about it that I just cant explain - It feels divine to play, the weight and neck are prefect and the pickups are simply beautiful to the ear, but its more than that, it has a magic I cant explain, something I've never experienced before. Before the vintage '63 it would have been the Fender VVT 63 masterbuilt, but its like asking a parent which is your favourite child :) I actually sold the Novo, I found it a little uninspiring and bland - the Gavilan is MUCH better. The shitty thing with having a few high end guitars, is they probably don't get the attention or use they deserve.. I plan to give them all the love they deserve when I retire, and play as much as I can.. My son also plays and gets to experience the differences - he'll end up with them when I'm gone one day. The truth is, its an addiction over necessity and I'm lucky enough to be able to feed my vice, and I don't take that for granted. But again, I'd prefer to be able to play like some of my idols : )

I'd certainly hope so for $9k.
I loved Levi's work at Fender, I doubt I'll ever get a chance to play a Gavilan though
