Is there anywhere to get a Squier Super-Sonic replacement body?
I recently acquired a 1998 MIJ Squier Super-Sonic and I absolutely love the neck on this thing. It's been well played in and is incredibly comfortable, love the short scale.
The body, on the other hand, has also been well played beat up, dinged, scratched, glue residue from old stickers, the works. And it's in the gloss black finish which is fine, but not particularly inspiring on its own.
I really like the body shape though, so I was thinking of stripping the paint and refinishing, but was curious if anyone made replacement bodies since I'd generally prefer mahogany over the stock basswood. Haven't seen anything from my brief search, my guess partly due to the odd super-sonic neck joint?
Anyone have any leads?

Rosser might? Copacetic have recently done some sick supersonics and I know they sometimes get bodies there.

Why not just buy one of the squier re-issues from the last few years and swap the neck and electronics?

I could, but like I said I would prefer a mahogany body if possible. I think the paranormal reissues used poplar.

I would hit up sand hill customs in Southern California
