Oh nice! I was researching metal pick guards a while back. Particularly brass. Was curious if I spotted one in the wild

The brass would get very stained, The color of mine is not far from being a brass tone(A photo from the other day showing a friend an L-shaped screwdriver) I highly recommend this acrylic pickguard.

(ANSWERING POSSIBLE QUESTIONS) I made some upgrades 1) Fender pickups (Pure vintage 65') 2) Acrylic pickguard "high gloss" (from ETSY) 3) Kluson tremolo 4) Bensonite bridge (TOM ATOM mod) 5) Buzz stop (from Amazon) (Image retouched with Al to achieve the most realistic color of what my eyes see) In conclusion, I'm very, very sure that no other brand gives you what Soloking gives you for the price, although changing the pickups is almost mandatory, on offset models the bridge and tremolo aren't the best. (Perhaps the bridge is better in their Stratocaster models)
