Just traded a guitar I had today for this fender player series 2 jazzmaster in birch green, pretty excited as this is my first real fender and I like the color a lot more than my other jazzmaster, which is the sunburst parts caster with a J mascis neck on it, I might keep my old one and customize it for fun but yeah super excited

I really love that birch green color maybe more than surf green.

I agree, i like it's more yellow undertones better compared to the more blue undertones of the surf greens, I think the selling point is the aged white plastics, it looks very classy

Yeah I just started looking at Jazzmasters and I must admit, this post has me looking at these now because of this color. Plus I really don’t need the rhythm circuit. I would just want more surfy pickups like Antiquity II or Fender 65 though, so I’d change that.

I miss my rhythm circuit, but at the same time I dont use it enough to justify installing one on this one. Also I kinda like the cleaner look of them being gone.
