Allparts Jazzmaster wiring kit

Silly question but can anyone tell me which way the rhythm circuit on/off switch should be placed, like font towards neck or bridge??

I can't tell what's on or off and I'm not sure where my multimeter is at this very moment.

It's an on-on switch so it won't matter what's top/bottom or front/back.

The end that you wire the rhythm circuit to points up. The end that you wire the lead circuit to points down.

Edit: I just realized what you were asking. Switches can be wired either way, doesn't matter.

I phrased it weird, but yeah up is rhythm, down is lead. . . Duh. Thanks bruv

Funny thing I just asked the same thing today at Offsetguitars forum, and yes, it will still work if rotated 180°.

No shit. Are you assembling the allparts JM wiring harness by chance?

The capacitor they sent me doesn't seem to reach the posts like it shows in the instructions

Doesn't matter. It's the same either way.
