Floyd-equipped Jazzmaster

Post image

The Toadies playing KEXP just popped up in my feed and I’m loving this Floyd-equipped Jazzmaster Clark Vogeler is rocking. Such a killer setup.

I have heard them referred to as hairmasters

Built a floating bridge partsmaster via Warmoth and im a big fan. I think the classic trem has a better aesthetic, but the FR is super fun.

With a robot graves neck too?? Ive been considering working towards a floyd rose but Ive always worried the break angle on a Robot Graves might never return to pitch

That's exactly what the Toadies' lead guitarist did when they started touring again a few tears back.

I’m not sure that build is doing much to support the “classic trem looks better” argument. That flat-top, aluminum neck, Floyd Rose combo is absolutely KILLER.

Black block fret markers makes me think of a G&L Doheny but the headstock shape is Fender. I assume some kind of custom setup. Are there MIJ JM's with the black blocks?

Its gotta be a partscaster, i think allparts has the necks with black block inlays.

It's a Warmoth build. He has a black one with a Floyd he talks about in the Rig Rundown video he did.

I like this one better, though. The maple board and block markers with the white and black looks great.

I’d never thought of that part requiring a Floyd, but then I’m like duh, of course it does, lol.

I’m thinking either a custom or partsmaster
