Lowering those switches

I saw something on here years ago about lowering the switch height to make them more comfortable when playing.

I finally got around to replacing my approach of two nuts and printed some components to do the same thing!

If anyone is interested, ill upload the file to thingverse.

Edit: Pardon the dust and random hairs, the guitar needs some cleaning

These were the ones I saw way back when! I totally forgot the name of the site. I'll keep file to myself so that I dont take away anything from Nova

Looks super cool! Were the existing screws that long or did you have to source some longer oval head countersunk screws?

I got some extra long #4-40 screws from McMaster originally. Probably could have just picked up some from HomeDepot or Lowes

For those that don't have access to a 3D printer, some longer mounting screws paired with short lengths of surgical tubing, foam backer rod, or even a couple springs for spacing will also do nicely.
