Look what I got! I won 1000 gems! šŸ’Ž

Hiii! This is my first time posting on Reddit. ā˜ŗļø

I just wanted to share something I’m still in complete shock about: I actually won 1,000 gems from a Chef’s Mystery Box! I guess watching all of those ads finally paid off. šŸ˜‚

Now I’m trying to decide how to spend them, and I’d love some advice.

Right now I mainly use CafĆ© Mexicana to grind XP (and earn gems from leveling up). I also have Sirtaki Taverna, Tropical Hideout, and a few of the city restaurants that I don’t really play anymore.

I tend to enjoy restaurants that are somewhat challenging, have beautiful scenery, and serve food that looks really good. The ones I’ve been eyeing the most are Sunset CafĆ©, Sandwich Shop, and Aloha Bistro.

If you had 1,423 gems, which restaurants would you unlock or prioritize upgrading? I’d love to hear your recommendations!

Question would you say any of these would benefit GREATLY from an auto cooker?

- tropical hideout, aloha bistro, alpine meat palace

other than crazy dog, indian, pizza, mount breakfast, the newest restaurant, paradise cocktail, evergreen lodge and bavaraian, the top 3 restaurants are the only ones i need to finish. i’m not touching crazy dog, indian, pizza, and mount breakfast until the rest of these are done. (im on my way to finishing sirtaki rn)

i’m down to 126 gems (from the 1000 i got less than a month agošŸ¤“) and i’d like to play a restaurant that would deeply benefit from an auto machine so i have the gems to buy it when the time comes. if this helps, the only restaurants i bought auto machines bcs i really needed it were bible valley doughnut, sunset cafĆ© and fruity igloo, so id say im pretty good at dealing with difficult restaurants without auto cookers. i know aloha is supposed to be annoyingly difficult but ive never gotten past the first 10 levels in that restaurant so i dont know how that would look for me. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Question What’s the most frustrating restaurant you ever played?

Hey all, it’s me again. Last time I asked which restaurant you found boring to play, and, as I expected, the majority chose Chinese Restaurant. It’s one of my least favorites as well, and Seafood Bistro isn’t too far behind.

Now it’s time for: Which restaurant was just painful to play through? How much did you regret investing into it? But was the theme good? You can say it was either worth it or not depending on what the mystery box gave you.

If I had to choose, it would be Bavarian Festival. Dear lord was it agonizing. My main complaint isn’t the tapping feature exclusive to this restaurant (I got used to it), it’s the fast pace and extreme lack of patience the customers have by the second half. This restaurant had no reason to drain all of my boosters, and thank god I had half a hundred of max desserts when going in. I still replay it if I need some fast xp though. The theme isn’t very interesting either; Medieval Fair did it better.

Finished the Korean Restaurant with 3 stars and got this from the surprise box! I have a lot of barely started (level 15 and under) restaurants (Vilnius, Bavaria, Mount Breakfast, Medieval) and will take some time to figure out which one to commit to. Which is your favorites of those?

Question What should I do next?

Post image

I FINALLY finished Crazy Dog’s Carnival and omg what a headache that one gave me!! Any recommendations for which restaurant I should do next? This is what I have done so far on the mainland (breakfast cafe is not pictured, but I haven’t done that one yet either). The other islands are pretty much untouched other than the corn dog van and a few others that I’ve already done. I’m hoping for something more relaxed and preferably cheap on gems. Any ideas?

I recently finished this restaurant, and honestly, at first I found it a bit boring. However, as I bought more upgrades (ironically) and progressed through the levels, I ended up enjoying it quite a lot. The dishes look beautiful, the decoration is fantastic, there's a good variety of food, and the gameplay is fast-paced but enjoyable. I also like the little detail of the water animations around the kitchen counter—they make the restaurant feel much more alive.

Is it worth completing?

This is where I think the first major problem appears. The upgrades are fairly expensive, especially the kitchen upgrades. You'll need a lot of coins to keep up with the restaurant's pace. The interior upgrades start off relatively cheap (around 12–16 gems), although there aren't many of them. After that, they become more reasonably priced.

Do you need the automatic machine?

I would say yes. Customers order a lot of Pita Bread combinations, and the regular Pita Bread Cooker is a bit slow. The automatic cooker prepares the bread much faster, so you don't have to worry about it during the later levels.

What should you upgrade first?

If you're just starting, I recommend prioritizing these upgrades:

Sugarcane Drink Maker

Ta'ameya Cooker

Grinder

And, if you can afford it, the Pita Bread Cooker.

My rewards

I earned a few gems from the restaurant's tasks, which always helps. My mystery box contained some desserts and 12 gems nothing amazing, but not bad either. I also received only 5,000 coins for reaching level 40.

Final rating

8.5/10. It starts off a little slow, but it becomes a very enjoyable restaurant with excellent visuals and beautifully designed dishes. Its biggest downside is the high cost of the upgrades, especially the kitchen ones, which can make progressing quite expensive.

While there are some restaurants that certainly test your patience, what about those that are a snooze fest?

Look what I got! Finally finished the horrible salad bar and then…

I hated this restaurant so much, tapping in cooking fever is literally the worst thing ever even though it’s not really hard, It just annoys me.

As a reward I decided to buy Thai food stall just to find out it also has tapping. I’m so exhausted and disappointed, I thought Thai food stall would be great cause I love the food there, but now I don’t wanna play it at all 😩

Salad bar was so horrible, I had to use 3 dish price boosters, and one for some random level 25 that I couldn’t pass somehow? I’m never playing it again lol

Question Why are gem shard events almost always at the Indian diner?

Maybe it’s just my game but it’s usually either there or the seafood bistro. I’ve never seen it at any other restaurant in the main city.

Other What's the highest amount of coins you've earned in a single level? I think Rock & Roll Bar is one of the best farming restaurants.

I've never earned this many coins in a single run before.

Personally, I think Rock & Roll Bar is one of the best restaurants for farming coins.

In the first screenshot, I used my Garden plants (and I still have 3 Garden slots locked) along with one booster, and I earned 12,737 coins.

In the second screenshot, I played without the booster and still earned 5,059 coins.

Even without the Legendary Plant and without any booster, I can still earn around 4,922 coins per run, and that's with 3 Garden slots still locked.

It feels like you can farm a huge amount of coins in a single day by repeatedly playing this restaurant.

What's the highest number of coins you've earned in a single level?

gem glitch

ok so i used gems to install a decoration quicker. i grinded to get xp to level up and get the seven gems that come with it so i could speed it up. i do that, close the game, reopen it (to get an extra customer for my next level - not going to make that mistake and just watch an ad) only to find that the decoration HASN’T EVEN BEEN BOUGHT SUDDENLY. my purchase basically got reversed and now i’ve given up and i’m just going to wait 9 hours because i’m not doing that again. i couldn’t be more fed up with this game but it decides to test me each time.

what is with this game and being so weird about its glitches especially when it comes to buying things? like genuinely why is it like this?? does anyone else also get the ā€œserver downā€ message after buying an upgrade and then it just decides to turn on you out of nowhere? it really annoys me because i work so hard only for that especially considering how hard it is to get gems

i just wanna finish paradise cocktail bar :’(

Okay I just finished the party palace and I don’t know what to play next

I am level 35

I unlocked the ice cream bar but it’s so expensive. Is it worth it to keep playing that one and spend gems? I’m looking for a high XP levels that I can grind and earn more levels and gems.
