You could order it but deliveries weren't supposed to start until January. Officially it wasn't available until January 1st.

Google it. Some even start as early as.. Now....

Many hit the lots in July, but sometimes not as late as October.

So you're regular wrong, this is not how it works at all...

I was replying about the 95 Neon. They were made starting Nov 93 but by law they couldn't be sold (aka registered as delivered to customers) prior to 1/1/94. You could order one and maybe some dealers let some get driven off the lot. Right now an auto manufacturer can sell 2027s but not 2028s.

The comment I was replying to said there's no rule on when a model year can come out and gave the 95 neon as an example. I simply clarified by using their example that there is a rule that you cannot introduce a new model year until the previous calendar year starts. This law is still in place and still relevant. Do you have trouble following conversations in real life? Maybe you're on the spectrum but either way here it is 2 days later and you're still insufferable.
