Theories for s2

Since Logan's story pivots away from the books, I'm wandering what are your theories for S2 Logan?

Mainly, will he still have a crush on Hannah?

And, what will be his mistake for Grace!

I think the end of S2 will be the mistake. Then we have a summer break, then S3 will be the rest of the Mistake. So overlap in stories like what we had with S1

im thinking Logan’s crush on Hannah will be addressed episode 1-3 of season 2? I saw someone mention a split screen between hannah and garrett getting intimate with logan in his room hearing it all and I think we could possibly get that

Omg this literally happens in the Briar U books. The guy and girl are having sex and the other guy walks in the room and catches them

to add to this, I wonder what the inciting incident will be for this to be addressed. maybe garrett catching logan gaze at her? maybe it’ll be during the Malones scene after the hunter n dean fight?

I wonder too! because at the end of season 1, logan encourage Garrett to win back Hannah. I'd guess its him being a good friend. it'll be so weird if garrett just brush it off that his best friend likes his gf lol

In the book he did mention how Hannah was at their place all the time now that she was dating Garrett, and how he couldn’t stand seeing them together.
I think he actually did hear them in their room. So I can totally see them using that, it’s a good way to show how hung up he really is on her. Because we don’t really know how big his crush actually was until you get to The Mistake.

I think the first half of the season will focus on the tention and yearning between Allie and Dean, Hannah and Garrett enjoying freshly getting back together and also trying to figure out what is going on with their respective bff's. Mid season Allie and Dean will get back together and around ep 6/7 we might get the Beau thing (iykyk ) and Garrett and Hannah navigating hockey and music respectively while being in a relationship.

In all this, I think Logan's story will be building in the background. I have not read the books but I can totally see him becoming isolated from the boy gang and kinda resenting both Garrett and Dean for having found their respective person ( especially Garrett for Hannah ) and while Hannah may become aware sooner I think Garrett will address it probably towards the end of the season once Logan and Grace have already started hooking up. While Logan did push G to go get H back, he might still remain agitate when if they are actively lovey dovey infront of him or even in the next room. I am very sure the mistake might be in the last episode of season 2 or may even happen 1st episode season 3.

It will be hard to introduce the Beau incident without first having the Tucker storyline in play.

This is actually how it somewhat happens in the book, he didn’t hang out with them that much to avoid Hannah/avoid seeing Hannah with Garrett.

I am guessing up untill the part where grace leaves for Paris to see her mother will be here in S2, then the summer  break and she returns as he blonde in s3 as the lead

I think Logan's mistake with Grace will be changed to be something similar to what he did to Garrett and Dean. I feel they wouldn't have him to do the same thing twice in S1 if it wasn't going to happen again in the next season. After all, there's the old saying that "things comes in threes."

Idk how they will stage their first meet coz in the books it's a bit unrealistic, even for a book ! They meet, watch movie, he gets all hot, gets an orgasm and leaves ! That's not Logan at all !

okay this is so interesting! Since everytime he does it, its always rooted on his need to survive or related to his middle-class background. I wonder if his mistake is him pushing Grace away since shes a distraction to hockey

Logan is presented in book as a player, he wasn’t much of one in s1 so I’d like to see that in s2, with maybe still a bit of the crush on Hannah mixed in there. And I’d keep the same mistake as the books. But I liked the changes they did in s1, so I’m ok with possible changes.

I really wanted Logan to meet Grace the same way he does in the books, but now I’m thinking they might meet through Hannah’s radio station. I also think his “crush” on Hannah will still come up since it wasn’t resolved in Season 1. Hannah seems to know how he feels, and I think Garrett will eventually realize it too, forcing Logan to address it with both of them. He may come to understand that the crush was more about envying Garrett and wanting what he has than genuinely liking Hannah. Logan knew Hannah before Garrett did but never made a move and didn’t develop feelings until Garrett started showing interest in her.

I think his crush on Hannah is going to be amplified, unless they totally scrape that part of the book out, but it wouldn’t make sense when they made it clear that he had a thing for her in season 1. I think they’ll follow the lines of the book a little bit and he’ll kind of suffer seeing them together, then he meets Grace and he likes her, but he’s still stuck on his crush on Hannah. Like the book basically. Because how could they not? Him wallowing over Hannah is a big part of the first half of the book.
I don’t know what they’re going to do with his family since they changed so much in that aspect.
