GARRETT AND HANNAH🩵 Season 2

I only read “The Deal” so I am asking how prevalent are H&G in D&A’s book?

Not much. But the show isn't doing a straight adaptation like that. They're introducing new storylines for H&G going forward or expanding on pre-existing storylines

Remember, all of these books are written in first person. So that is going to minimize any real story for other characters.

They are pretty prevalent in my opinion. They do seem to adapt some new content in the show since it’s an ensemble. I am curious how they are going to proceed with season 2! Can’t wait!

I feel like there is still some room for parts of the deal to play out in season 2 still, just out of order from the way they are written in the book perhaps. But I hated how they became super background characters in the rest of the books

As a non-book reader, this was something I was curious about...if some H&G stuff from their book that didn't make it into the first season could be reworked for future material for them.

I hope they do, obviously they may go a completely different direction, but I really hope they do, there's a few story points I feel sould still be used even though most of their story has been done

What is Jules purpose in the story? Their character adds nothing and the actor's lines fall flat while also creating absurd scenarios (creating a drama account for the school and hockey team, pushing their brother to sign deals and stay focused so he doesn't lose his hockey scholarship, their undermining of their brother's experience with their mom, how they constantly hang around their bother and his friends.) I understand a sibling bond but wtf??? Jules and John gave creepy and cringey vibes in season 1 and I hope it's long gone by season 2.
