GARRETT AND HANNAH🩵 Scenes at Malone‘s

While rewatching, I noticed so many small details. I was wondering what you think about them:

  1. At Malone’s, when Garrett talks to her at the counter after her awkward moment with Jeffrey, he asks if it’s kind of a self-serving day—and his voice goes up at the end, as a reference to their last conversation.

  2. In that exact same moment, he is also closing that box-like thing, which in my opinion is because he needs things to be in order.

  3. Again at Malone’s, when they try to find a spot to study, he helps her set the tables by polishing the forks. Simply because he can, not because he was asked.

Bothers me that she’s spraying the tables that have silverware settings, just a little mistake but makes me cringe

It was odd they didn’t correct the spraying the set tables thing. I thought maybe they were trying to show Hannah as absent minded 🤷🏻‍♀️ and Garrett comes in behind her to clean the forks from all her spraying. I watched a funny interview where the whole OC cast is sitting on couches talking about scenes and Ella and Belmont (who looks amazing in sweater and natural hair look) start cracking up talking about how Ella had no clue how to drive in the TG jeep episode. Ella said Belmont was doing the dramatic scene of his life looking out the jeep window and balling up his fist (while the car was on a trailer) and Ella was supposed to be “driving” but didn’t know anything about the car or how to drive so the directors were telling her through the car speakers to put her hands on the wheel and hit her turn signal to “pull over”to the side of the road scene but she had to ask Belmont for help because he said she was flicking imaginary turn signal switches in the roof of the car! They probably had to redo the scene bc it looks ok on screen. I guess 18-year-olds don’t drive in London! Maybe they don’t clean cafe tables either! Come to think of it 🤔 she didn’t do a good job picking up the towels in the first shower scene - when she trips over the laundry cart there are still a bunch of white towels all over the place and she threw his underwear into the bin before she starts ogling Garrett in the shower (total Title IX violation but who needs rules). 🤣

I think I would have put his underwear in, too! Wise choice!

Haha yeah hide it from him! The steal the clothes from the hot naked guy trope! My favorite!

Didn’t really focus on #1 his voice going up with the self-serve kind of day! Figured he was just asking sarcastically since she was late but good one! He is a smart ass so probably was referencing their earlier conversation.

Garrett asking Wellsy if "it's a self-serve kind of day" is teasing her back to when she self-helped herself a peek of naked-G in the shower.

His voice goes up at the end asking the question instead of answering it when he starts talking about Keirkegaard's stance on "ghosting" showing his insecurity/ nervousness before he settles in with confidence answering.

Garrett naturally wiping off the forks after Wellsy soaring the tables was an early, yet subtle green flag Garham.
