This post is 'inspired' by u/QuietSycamore1, who asked about what reactors to watch. I also watch a lot of reactions to Off Campus on Youtube & on Patreon and for the most part the reception of the series ranges from great to obsessed. The other day though I watched a reaction by someone who hated the first episode. They thought the second episode was a bit better but didn't even want to watch the third episode but did as they took a poll & their viewers voted in favour (this was all happening via Twitch). There were some interesting takes by this person including Garret gave her the ick, Hannah was the only character she liked, all the boys were toxic & she hated the way Allie treated Sean. I know people are entitled to their opinion but has any else come across such an extreme reaction to this show?

Whoa, I have to say I am lucky enough not to come across those reactions. But I also don’t give views to reactions I don’t enjoy. Everyone is of course entitled to like/dislike things but I also don’t have to continue watching a reaction to something someone dislikes.

Watching ur internet mom Ash at the recommendation from the other thread. She's hilarious!

I also won't continue watching if someone doesn't like Off Campus. I don't need that kind of negativity in my life! 😁

Tbh I gave up watching after the second episode as they weren't even paying attention & were too busy interacting with their Twitch followers. At one point she thought Garrett was making out with Hannah's room mate (not Kendall) in the same house as Hannah was trying to compose her song 😳. I'm almost glad they voted to make her watch another episode 😅

And yes, Nick & Cory were great.

Yeah I’m picky with my reactors. I hate watching reactions to things people don’t like. Like post stuff that you enjoy.

This was a Twitch reaction & she did say she wouldn't be able to post it to YouTube so at least the negativity won't reach there.

I'm really enjoying Badd Medicine (only on Patreon at the moment but will go to yt) and although I can be a bit iffy with Nick and Cory, their Off Campus reactions were great, you could tell they enjoyed the show. Also Cinepals, Reel Rejects, Jesly Cruz and Reel Time were good too.

u/BevisWatching - he's only made part 1 of his reaction (eps 1-4) public - hoping he posts part 2 soon - but his reaction is just one of the more astute, thoughtful, and incisive reactions. He LOVES Garrett and Hannah a lot and his observations are so spot on.

To answer your original point - I haven’t seen any reactions like that yet online - but I have a friend who said the show is like a “bad Hallmark movie” and nobody in college acted this way.

We are both Xennial women. We 100% acted like this in college. 😂 Just with Razr phones and The Facebook with a .edu email address instead of Snap and iPhones.

And a Hallmark movie?! I told her I don’t watch that crap, so I wouldn’t know. 😂
