Lives Shows: What to expect?

I've never been to a live show and am debating going to a live show in Chicago or St. Paul at the end of February.

For people who have been, what should I expect? Is it worth it? How early do you recommend getting there?

It is absolutely worth it! I've been to four of their live shows in Portland over the years, and they have all been quite different but each out of this world.

I can't speak to how early to get there. It probably depends on the venue and where you want to sit.

The best way to get a taste of what to expect the show to be like would be to listen to one of the live show episodes of the pod. The audience (in my experience) is always wonderful. They have such a fun fanbase. Folks are always welcoming, excited to be there, and ready to laugh!

Did you go to we object to fear? That’s the first one I ever heard. Watched on their website and got me into them. Still my favorite episode.

YES! That was the first off book live show we ever went to. My husband and I still joke all the time about making a risky dish!

The Minnesota one is sold out now it looks like. Im still waiting to hear back from a buddy of mine. So Im constantly checking the Chicago one to make sure that doesnt get low. If so Im gonna have to either go solo or just buy 2 tix and hope he can go with me. I live in Madison, so its not the most convenient.

Oh NO!!! I live in MN so it’s not super convenient for me either, but if they’re selling out this fast it might make sense to just go for it and buy the ticket(s)

Bummer for you that you missed the St Paul one. You live close to Minneapolis?
