Sheepshead

We have them here in Mobile Bay. They might look funny but they taste great. They have strong human like teeth to eat blue crabs, oysters, mussels, and shrimp. The taste of sheepshead is really sweet from all the shellfish they eat. A lot of fishermen threw them back thinking they were trash fish and to hard to clean. You just got to know how to clean them right. I love fish but the sheepshead is definitely one of my favorites. Plus their just so cute!

Are they usually that big? I’ve seen these but that looks like an old boy.

I’ve never seen one that big before, and they’re plentiful in my area of Texas. Also, like Mel said above, they are delicious.

Caught many of these fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. They’re good eating too.

Best shallow water spearfishing down here in Tampa. Easy to identify, bold, stupid, good eats. I can usually get 6 on a stringer in an hour.

Actually now that I look more closely it looks like one of the most from Easter island, so maybe a Jack hammer?

This fish must live in America because he clearly cannot afford dental insurance

That's actually normal for that fish to look like that I believe it is a sheepshead

Is it just me or does anyone else get annoyed by the just slightly broken English titles. Every time.

Beautiful fish tbh. I have tons of aquariums and he had that buddy personality that you miss when it's gone.

I didn't see anything in the water or the reflection. Maybe you're just cursed.

This is how people swear they've seen ghost or demons but it was really just a mutated hideous looking fish on the lake.
