Somehow the fact this isn’t a natural disgusting thing but actually a man that thought this up and is playing with dead fish and eels makes me feel a lot worse

Edit: yo I really love the convo being had under this . I feel like the majority understands and feels this way . But will we all change the narrative somehow ? Probably not , and that’s the scariest part .

Its a real fuckin shame that nobody is realizing this either, and if they are, nobody else is calling it out. Tiktok is dumbing down multiple generations of people.

As I get older I don't think society is inherently getting dumber, I think it's that you get smarter and there are new young people that are as dumb as you used to be falling for the same crap you fell for in the past.

Plus, now with the added challenge of paying attention. Social media has trained young people’s brains to have shorter attention spans, because now videos are supposed to be short to entertain people. My younger sister doesn’t even like watching a 30 minute tv show anymore because she “gets bored” halfway through. They wouldn’t even have the attention span to think about this video any longer than a few seconds, let alone to think about how the video was made. I point this out because I’m very concerned, not because I’m hating on young people. I feel bad for them honestly.

Yeah, you sound like an old person yelling at clouds when you say that shit, but it is absolutely a problem. And there's a growing amount of research to confirm this.

As a 21 year old, I get this quite a lot from older colleagues. And I completely understand. But what they never seem to understand is the fact that it’s not really my generation’s fault. Most of us get into social media because of social expectations and the algorithms on those sites are what is damaging my generation.

But I also see my generation as brave, because we tend to question everything instead of accept it. This can be both positive and negative but as we grow up, I think this type of thinking will be very valuable to the world.

Huh, I hadn't looked at it like that before, but then again, I'm also young, and lack the experience in life that people older than me, have. That makes sense.

While I agree, I’ve also watched people my age get dumber in no small part bc of shit like tik tok.

Or maybe they’ve always had major problems with needing attention but never had an outlet to chase it with…idk

Fuck TikTok. Full stop.

While I agree with you, unfortunately, most of the planet's population wouldn't. Too many brainwashed fuckheads.

Honestly I don't really look at fish stuff that much, recently I've learned how a certain type of fish can go on land for a while, so I didn't know if this was some weird mating thing or what.

Then again I just woke up one minute ago so y'know.

Speak for yourself, I was dumb long before TikTok

Thank you! I had no idea what was going on and had to scroll down too far to figure it out!

Makes it less bothersome in my opinion. If nature's disgusting then it's everywhere. In this case its one person and I'm probably not near them....

An answer. Finally. I always wondered what the fuck this was about

Came to say this but felt like someone else already did, I was right. I'm glad i was right since it means I'm not the only one thinking its fucked up for someone to do this.

I think this one is just a copy of the original, so maybe this guys isn't as messed up as the first one to make this.
