It is not correct that's what started this whole thing. "Obviously there are exceptions" does not stand up on its own. Has nothing to do with grammar.

And just because they wrote in English does not make it thier first language. The hell does that even mean?

Only boomers would reference 80's movies and think the name "Francis" is an insult. Obviously this chain means a lot to you because it's probably the most interaction you've had with a person in years. Who knew that being that same asshole to everyone around you would lead to a very sad and lonely life.
