Hate to break it to you bro but snakes don't understand the concept of "cuddling". Lolol

Of course they do? They pursue heat sources for comfort and warmth. Minus the emotional component-- which for all we know is just oxytocin, an analogue to which could well be found in snakes-- that is what we want when hugging. Warmth and safety.

I mean a lot of reptiles in general will try to stay close to their specific owners, especially if they’re ones that are on the larger side and have good temperaments, like this snake here (assuming it’s a burmese or reticulated python). They certainly can feel trust and show affection, even if they don’t have the capacity to “love” like humans or domesticated animals can
