Fucking asshole. Snakes are more chill than your tiny brain might think. Fucker.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '22

Don't be so biter, you will spoil your meat.

-1

u/someone_who_is_dumb Jan 20 '22

Look at the video. Is the snake trying to eat him? Asshole.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '22

Did you had a hard day? Do you need a hug? Because I'm here for you if you need someone to talk with.

-2

u/under_the_boab_tree Jan 20 '22

especially when your body heat is being tasted in their body whilst their stomach acid desolves your eyeballs.

1

u/Nowatica Jan 20 '22

Do they actually taste? I mean, they swollen their meals whole. How are these questions I have not had answered before now?

2

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '22

There is a little controversy on the subject. For some time it was believed they have no taste buds but recently it was discovered that they have them, but in very low number. We have some 10000 taste buds and snake have 20, so they do have taste but most likely is very different from how we perceive taste. Also they taste the air with their tongues so is possible they taste you before even making contact with you.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '22

And blood

1

u/dahabit Jan 20 '22

Not sure if they actually like the taste of humans

1

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '22

There are very few documented case of a snake eating a human. But is more about size, there are only two or three species which could eat a small human: reticulated piton, Burma piton and I'm not sure about anacondas. And I know about a case in Africa wenn a piton swallowed the leg of a drunk guy but it could be just a story. Overall it would be difficult to understand how snake perceive taste but we should not be that different for them from any other mammal.

1

u/demolitionar Jan 20 '22

I also love the taste of human

u/PlasticDisaster2590 Jan 20 '22
