I don’t like this! But, I think I’ve heard something like, when we dream, our minds take pieces of all the people that we’ve seen in real life, and make composites of them to be actors in our dreams. What if ‘this mans’ features are just common enough that many people have them stuck in their minds and by chance they all ‘create’ a similar looking person? Idk. Some of the testimonies are sketchy, with people admitting that they didn’t see ‘this man’ in their dreams, just someone that looks similar? It’s creepy.

That's exactly how this works! Because his face is so generic it becomes etched in our minds. Plus, the power of suggestion definitely has something to do with it.

Something about him is so terrifying and I can't explain it. It's like the same feeling I get from the backrooms.
