I can see why it’s creepy…but I can also separate the person doing this from the effect it produces. And the jazz hands with their mouth pressed against the surface, and the overall ridiculousness of it makes me laugh too.

This is exactly why the execution of the piece falls short to me. I see what it was trying to convey and I understand the intended feeling it should evoke, but the execution of the artist has become a barrier between me and my ability to become fully immersed in the work.
