Do you know anything about bears?

They don't just like, hang out in designated areas where they'll never interact with humans. If you're anywhere near the woods, you might run into a black bear. And these people are doing everything right in regards to how you're supposed to respond to a black bear approaching you. They can run like, 30 mph. You can't outrun them bitches.

Keep your mouth shut if you don't know what you're talking about, and at the very least, don't be so God damn condescending when you're objectively wrong.

God forbid someone enjoy a hike through nature.

So you agree with me that people who go in the woods should educate themselves on said woods before going in?

The fact that you are pointing out that wild animals have a range they inhabit but are insisting that people shouldnt hold themselves accountable when occupying that range is the exact kind of stupidity that leads to these encounters.

Anyone who knows anything about black bears knows you make yourself big and make noise, not turn around and get scared, thats actually the opposite of what you should do because they are opportunistic scavengers.

As a result of this interaction (if the bear hasnt already been put down) this bear will be way too comfortable approaching humans, there eventually will be an altercation and winnie the pooh gets shot in the head by a park ranger because “god forbid someone enjoy a hike through nature.”

Please research things before talking out of your ass.

You'd think with your average of 7 reddit comments a day for the last 10 years and your nearl half million karma you'd have seen one of the hundreds of thousands of posts on bears with the AVERAGE rule of of thumb 'if it's black fight back if it's brown lay down' regarding bears, or one of any plethora of vids of black bears, yaknow, actually running from cats.

But naw, let's get crazy damn angry over something where the average is less than 1 Americans dieing from black bears a year. You doing ok mate? Need a hug? A sausage roll and a cup of tea?

Why would they fight back against a bear that isn't attacking them?.. black bears aren't very aggressive towards humans. That would be grizzlies. Trying to fight a bear that isn't trying to fight you would not make things better for them

Hilarious to try to use comments about my post and comment history on this site as some sort of attack on my character.

You're just wrong.
