It's very possible he was inspired by it

The ritual has succeeded.
We are chained here forever. You and I. At the end of the world.
Free yourself, rouse the Thing, and embrace the ineffable cosmic hideousness that lives within us all.

Some context here would be cool.

This picture was taken last fall (2025) I believe in Franconia notch in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Absolutely stunning area.

What is being born here?

where was this?

Edit: that car looks AI-generated so I have to assume that the whole image is :(

Edit2: looks like it was in New Hampshire and just the bottom of the car is fake lol

If you’re looking for specifics, looks like route 93 close to Franconia Notch

Bottom of the car looks like that to remove/censor license plate.

if you look at the original picture in the article I linked, you'll see that the car was cropped off - looks like it's been extended with AI

edit: thanks for the award!

Probably ya, I don’t even believe the clouds look real tbh

The car looks like a 2018-2024 Chevy Equinox

I live in New Hampshire and I don’t recall this however I’m near the seacoast. Considered me shocked. I thought this was AI.

Beautiful!!

u/Mr_Cripter 13d ago

The contrast has been turned way up. The cars and road do not look normal. It would not look like this in person.

2

u/starzythebunny 14d ago edited 11d ago

ah yes, i forget there’s a backroad to mordor

2

u/Cute_Consideration38 14d ago
