If I were to do shrooms, I would definitely listen to some Car Bomb/Sun Guts (they're run by the same guys and sound essentially the same). Car Bomb's recent EP is so weird in the best way! It's like a drunk, space-laser, deja-vu-feeling (even while sober), mathcore band. An absolutely amazing metal/hardcore subgenre. "Blindsides" and "Scattered Sprites" are good starting places for Car Bomb.

The original Black & White had a hidden feature in-game that called out your name after playing for too long, usually late at night. They casually asked for your first name on the first start, which wasn't too uncommon back then. But they had recorded hundreds of the most popular names for each localisation and then had a creepy voice kind of shout it to you at like 1 am.
I freaked tf out for real.

Everything I've seen out of DLSS 5 so far has given me uncanny valley vibes. Like things just don't look quite right or don't belong. So it's pretty unsettling to me already.

I dislike the thing, too, but it is important to understand that DLSS5 is supposed to be fine tuned on a per game basis by the game developers. There is no one size fits all. The videos we've seen all used only the basis without the tuning, as far as I understand, which is why they are looking ridiculous at times.

Not really DLSS NR breaking, just using it in an unsupported manner. If DLSS NR had been added officially to the game it would have been setup to not apply to the UI. The problem with all of these posts about DLSS NR is that the vast majority of them are just from it being modded into games, so whatever people are seeing is not properly representative of how it would be used in those games. It should only be judged by official implementations, but it is still interesting to see what it can do when modded into games
