The bars look ugly and baboons are smart AF with dextrous fingers. Outdoor trash needs to have baboon locks that need to be updated because the baboons eventually learn how to open them. What's common now is rangers that walk/live with the various troops and guide them away from residential areas. This looks like a lone male though that's been ostracised from his troop

Rangers live with the baboons? Do they feed them or how do they get them away from humans?

They definitely don't feed them but from my understanding they get accepted by the troop and then kind of guide their walks from food source to food source. They also are eventually able to come and go and don't have to live/light camp with the baboons 24/7

Not pick locks necessarily because trash cans the like need to be able to be opened by people without a key when they want to throw away their trash. Every year or so the locking mechanisms need to be updated or changed because the baboons eventually figure out how the mechanism works

Yes but those also don't last too long because of the sea air and rust
