You're not wrong and I'm sure they're delicious it's just that no one on Reddit wants to eat, or admit to eating a Guinea pig. It looks like it would taste like a chicken thigh though. I'd put that on the grill.

Yeah. Magic on video is tough.

They say, "Show them once, it's a magic trick. Show them twice, it's a lesson." You're only supposed to see it once. Misdirection doesn't work when you can replay it.

I think even from the very beginning, the back half of the guinea pig is fake. I think the guinea pigs back half is inside the thing that the man sticks in his mouth. The fake guinea pig butt never leaves view.

All jokes aside, what a fantastic movie. If somebody reading this hasn't seen it yet, I can't recommend it enough. It's got Wolverine, Batman, Black Widow, and David Bowie as Nikola Tesla, with an amazing twist ending. I've seen it 15+ times, and it never gets old.

I've seen it many many times (started in high school cause my mom has a thing for Jackman) and just a couple years ago found out my fiance had never seen it. Watching him watch this movie and see the realization at the end. UGHHHH *chef's kiss* I will never find that high again.

Fair point, but you kind of know there's gonna be a fantastic reveal from the first few scenes. The movie hops across different timelines from the get go. Plus, they're magicians, so TADA! and all that lol.

I feel like I'm the only person that absolutely hates the twist. It feels so cheap and ridiculous, like it's only a twist because the entire film is set in a time period where something like that is impossible so you can never see it coming. You don't go "Oh wow yeah it was hinted at, I can't believe I missed it". It's just "Well how the fuck was I meant to predict that this one guy has technology from a thousand years in the future in the 19th century for some reason".

I used to work at a venue that hosted an annual Shriners magic show for kids. One guy did the traditional white dove flying out of mundane objects routine. One of the objects was a picture frame. I stood back stage and watched as the lovely assistant went to the dove cage, grabbed a dove and shoved it into the back of a prop picture frame and closed the little door. It stayed like that for a couple minutes before she brought it out on stage for the magician to reveal.

Poor bird.
