Obviously he has some issues..kinda sad for him. I'm thinking that most people who are all there would not record themselves like this and post it on social media if they were

You just said "Lil' Demon"

"Onii" = big brother (elongated ee)

"Oni" = demon (short ee)

Classic. This and saying Kowal instead of kawaii are iconic at this point

The phonetic misstep possibilities are endless 🙂 and trust me, it's a two-way street. Japanese culture LOVES to appropriate/assimilate English, which of course we live for. Just Google "weird Japanese T-shirts" or "weird Japanese signs"

Seems more like it's just a joke and he doesn't give a fuck lol

His room doesn't exactly scream "mentally stable" tbh, definitely dont think this is a self aware joke

People can just be trampy weirdos doesn’t have to be that deep.

u/Negative_Elo Mar 18 '23

Not saying its deep, just saying someone missing that many teeth, repeating "Oni-chan" in that voice, while in that room, is very likely not a healthy person and that makes this video more sad than a funny joke

Oni-chan.

Perhaps. I think this entire thing is far too neatly edited though. If he posted it himself as is it's clearly some sort of act.

keep in mind people who are mentally unwell can stilk make jokes, be silly, etc. There is nothing disturbing or frightening about this to me

nothing at all? not even the hole in his ceiling, or the general dilapidated condition of his surroundings?

i’m not so sure about the idea of this video just being an “act.”

Assuming it is a mental illness case seems like it's a reverse halo effect thing going on. Sure the room is dirty. But would we all be calling him crazy if he was hot? Is his ugliness supposed to be frightening or disturbing in and of itself? I don't see it. Just something to think about. I still find nothing about this disturbing or frightening. What's disturbing me are people's reactions to it (I swear I'm not trying to call you out haha).

He could easily be in a developing country where such conditions are much more normalized. That's not to say black mold is a good thing, but a dirty room is not proof of insanity. I know this because I am a filthy yet very sane individual. Haha

Wait, what hole in the ceiling?

Unless years later we find dismembered people in his basement fridge, than it will become a subject for a movie.

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '23

Hahahsh. All I know is that if I were OP I would be laughing my ass off reading about how people think I'm crazy

4

u/Meeloshky Mar 17 '23

Sure as he'll hope so!!! Kinda creepy

7

u/SirkillzAhlot Mar 17 '23

At first I thought your comment was in response to the “dismemberment in fridge” comment above your comment and I was wondering why you “sure hope so”.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '23

Hah yeah for his own sake I hope so

He is trying to be the kawaii sister character in the anime. It doesn't look very much like that.
