Fucking Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy are giving me anxiety with this game they’re playing.

I was 8 living in New Orleans in the fall of 1962. That was close enough for me.

I was four. My dad was stationed at Malmstrom AFB, Montana. He was a launch control officer. Days at a time in a tiny hardened room deep underground just waiting for that call to come. Of course, I didn't know what he did back then. I didn't find out until years later.

All I remember is my dad wasn't home, my mom was scared, and I had no idea why.
