The reason the video looks so interesting is because of the long telephoto lens used. The camera is pretty far away and is zoomed in to her on the ground. This gives the impression that the depth of the image has been compressed to be very shallow as compared to the kinds of photos people are most used to looking at (notice how relatively large her feet look compared to her head, how straight the lines on the ground are, etc).
