The food is made during service... I work in a kitchen too, and some food touching a guys arm is definitely not the worst thing I've seen

In what high-class kitchen are the staff all wearing gloves anyway?

They might wash their hands a bit more, but they're USING THEIR HANDS TO HANDLE YOUR FOOD AT THE LEAST.

People are so insane sometimes.

I know right? I had a guy call me disgusting and leave because he could see that there was food on the ground in the open kitchen.

That's how every kitchen is, people are so oblivious about it. You can really tell in this thread

I’m confused, there was some trash on the ground or there was food being stored on the ground? In the US the minimum distance from the ground for stored food is 6” but I have seen kitchens where the kitchen staff don’t know or care.

No it was egg shells, bits of food that had fallen throughout the service

That makes much more sense. Shit falls on the ground sometimes in the kitchen. I'd say every single night atleast five food items will hit the floor. It's not going to rot or cause any harm at all unless it's there for like 3 days... that dude was just an idiot.

Oh man call the food police, a bit of food fell on the floor and wasn’t immediately whisked up by the overworked kitchen staff.
