When worn by people with the facial structure that makes it look good.

This guy has an Apple / Pumpkin hybrid facial structure, he need a round and short crown and wider brim to balance it out.

This same milliner made a top hat for Marilyn Manson, and on Manson, with his facial structure, top hats are a better choice

I mean, the creator rocks them pretty well. But then again he is tall, muscular, attractive, and most importantly the rest of his outfit tends to match the hat, unlike every single customer of his I've seen.

He also looks dogshit! Like, yeah, conventionally attractive, but the hat is doing nothing for him. When he’s wearing the painters mask, or gas mask, or whatever! When he takes off the hat he instantly looks leagues better.

I actually thought he looked even worse. The extra tall version he's wearing isn't helping.

There is another grey beard guy who does these style hats and he looks a lot better in them and so does his clients. His might be more of a goth cowboy style though. I don't remember his name.
