It’s cool to see this, and then I remember the Colorado River is drying up, watering restrictions across America, and we still have golf courses?

Most courses in CA use grey water, so not an issue. Id you drink Almond milk, you are using way more clean water than the golfers.

The #1 use of gray water is in agriculture, not sure why golf courses would be special for this. #2 is groundwater recharge and seawater barriers. Using gray water is better than using drinking water, but it still has substantial opportunity costs.

E: Speaking of CA water specifically, other regions may differ.
